“Jerzy Nowosielski” is an exhibition at the Zachęta National Gallery of Art showing a cross-section of the oeuvre of one of the most important artists of Polish modern art. The exhibition focuses mainly on the artist’s distinctive paintings, presenting different themes and periods of his art. It has been divided into 4 sections: ABSTRACTION, LANDSCAPE, BODY and ICON and supplemented with quotations of creative statements by the author of the works.
The scenography is partly based on a modular system of metal-framed walls designed by our studio. Strong geometric colour surfaces correspond with the abstract forms and intense colours of the paintings.
